NEW YEARS EVE --- GREAT EXPERIENCE
OpenTable Diner Since 2008 (01/03/2015 )
We chose this based on location and reviews and were not disappointed. The ambiance was perfect, there were families, couples and small groups of both you and older diners. It is obviously a great spot for everyone and the wait staff were energetic, attentive and welcomed all patrons equally, even babies and highchairs. We thought it was great and was a very nice NY Eve atmosphere! The food was extraordinary and the portions were VERY generous! We will be back and hope to dine outside over the summer.

The lobster chowder was excellent. Service was on spot. We had ordered salads, burgers and steaks and everyone was happy!

For dinner, I'vE tried their fried green tomato, grilled steak salad, crab and spinach dip, and turkey burger. ALL of these dishes were outstanding, notably the grilled steak salad. I'm a salad fanatic so typically it takes a lot to convince me to find a salad memorable - but this was fantastic. The steak was grilled to perfection, the blue cheese wasn't overwhelming the dish and the raspberry vinaigrette was light and full of flavor.
As for brunch, you can't go wrong with the Bellini or the Grapefruit Crush. The Bellini is sweet and infused with peach flavor. The grapefruit crush is a bit stronger but just as delicious. I had the Langermann's Hash with 2 poached eggs and a side of grits. I really enjoyed the hash, but the side of grits blew me out of this world. There really is a reason why Langermann's is famous for grits and it's so fluffy (like a marshmallow) in a good way. I've had grits at many outstanding restaurants like Woodberry Kitchen and Founding Farmers, but my favorite grits place is definitely Langermann's.
Lastly, for a romantic dinner or a cozy brunch, get one of those seats next to their beautiful fireplace!
Thanksgiving Dinner
This was the first year they were open and had a special Thanksgiving menu. Hopefully they will do it again. Everything we had was excellent. The combo of ordering your main and having additional side as a buffet was great; you could get extra stuffing and cranberry sauce, etc
I loved the atmosphere and the wait staff.
The staff was so pleasant and very attentive to me and my wife. The food was exceptionally delicous and promted me to invite friends for an event for next month.

Amazing brunch
I think it goes without saying that Langermann's deserves its accolades for being one of the best brunch spots in the city. We brought my out of town in-laws there, who are not easy restaurant customers especially for breakfast, and they LOVED it! Our server was great, very personable, and rolled with all my MIL's bad jokes. I will definitely be returning. We all loved our choices, and the bread basket was phenomenal, especially the blueberry jam!

Great casual dinner
Food was delicious! Ambiance was great. Service was outstanding! I appreciate when the server provides helpful recommendations. Setting: dinner for two on Sunday evening. I recommend the scallop appetizer. Perfectly cooked scallops paired with spectacular creamy grits. I had the sea bass (my favorite fish). The creamed corn was very light and set as a sauce rather than a side dish. Fingerling potatoes were a nice addition. Tried a bite of the salmon dinner. Very creamy orzo with a fairly strong goat cheese flavor. I would recommend if you like goat cheese. Overall a great night.

A B-More Favorite
My husband and I make it a point to visit Langermann's in Baltimore for our special occasions and for special nights out. The food is consistently delicious and comforting. I love the scallop appetizer, shrimp and grits, and I'm looking forward to trying the smoked salmon eggs benedict at their Sunday brunch. Yum!

I went to Landermanns to celebrate my 50th birthday with a group of 12. The food was great and the waiter Jake was very nice. This was my first time there and I would go back again.

This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore. The seared scallops are to die for! I've taken my family here when they visited from St. Louis and they loved it. I have a LivingSocial coupon to come back and I can't wait to use it!

Superb!!!!!!!!Recently came by for dinner with a group, i believe on thursday and they had the outdoor patio there with a mini concert going on that we checked out after we finished our meal inside. Let me tell you, the food is amazing!!! Our waiter Oscar was awesome ( very cute with those dimples of his), we had the tuna crab tartare, crab dip, and wings for apps. We all got different entrees so we could take a bite from each other's plate, i think my favorite entree was the 1/2 chicken and the salmon. My friends and i were very impressed, that the kitchen really is A FRESH KITCHEN. You can tell when fish have been frozen, and the fish tasted as if it was just recently caught! Next time we come to canton this is the spot for dinner! Oh and the cornbread and biscuits really good to start off that comes out for you for dinner. Service was excellent prompt and on point, and food was hot! again i say and food was hot, because of the teamwork of the staff all the other servers help out once the food was done to bring it to the guests! Plus this place has a great Sat and Sun brunch?? We will be back to try the brunch! Im pretty much reviewing 5 star places here in baltimore since i moved from Vegas and i since my dad was a chef i know what good quality food is like, look out for my reviews and if you have any request of any good places in baltimore that you may be reluctant to try message me and i will let you know!
