"Had a wonderful meal at Langermann's. I got to try some new food combinations that I never had before which I love because I like to think I am an adveturous diner. I shared a wedge salad with my husband which was delicious. I had soup of the day which was cream of mushroom with 2 types of wild mushrooms and it even had a little spice which was really nice. I also had the wild mushroom ravioli appetizer which was the perfect appetizer portion and was really delicious. Then came our entree and we both ordered he carloina shrimp and grits. Perfection! At that point I was stuffed and had to take my leftovers home but I just had to try dessert so my husband and I had the berry cobbler a la mode. Perfect cap to the evening. I will go back again." "We had 2 Groupons for this restaurant and we so pleased with our experience the first time, we scrambled to get back 2 weeks later. The service staff is exceptional (ask for Becca; she's awesome!), the atmosphere is laid back while still attentive, inside & outdoor dining are both pleasant. Their seafood apps & entrees are all exceptionally well prepared (cannot say enough good things about the scallops) and the house specialty appetizer Tuna Crab Tartar that has won them several awards, is truly stellar. Wednesday night is 1/2 price wine bottles night and the wine list has a good, diverse selection. Also good beer choices. I've now sampled the short rib, the shrimp & grits and the scallops (appetizer and entree) and can still smell and taste all of them in my memory. They are done simply with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentations, but the flavors are festivals for the taste buds and will stay with you until you have a chance to go back for more. Prices are very approriate for what you are getting - while I haven't had any of the lighter fare on their sandwich/salad menu, I'm sure you could build a very lovely meal for yourself for less than $15.
